“I went to the championships to see what I could achieve as I continued with my karate. The atmosphere was great and I had a lot of fun. I went not expecting to win anything but just to take part; I was amazed when Sensei Garry told me that I had won two gold trophies and my brother Matthew won bronze.

I was really excited as my first competition that I entered I also won a bronze and mum won the gold and silver. It is great to see what I have achieved over the short period of time doing karate and look forward to the next competition”.
